Soma Prana Vinyasa – Yin Tantric & Craniosacral

Soma Prana Vinyasa is meditation in motion, a gentle merging within the body-mind complex. Gentle, flowing movements guide the body into deep relaxation, calm the mind, and allow for regeneration on a cellular and energetic level. Rooted in Yoga, Tantra, Ayurveda, and the rhythms of nature, Soma Prana Vinyasa draws from the Vedic-Tantric concept of Soma, the “nectar of the gods.” Soma symbolizes longevity and serves as an elixir of immortality, activating self-healing powers within us. This practice brings us inward, using soft, natural movements to connect deeply with our inner sanctuary, allowing us to experience self-healing through the meditative practice of yoga. Inspired by lunar and Tantric Yin yoga, this style focuses on opening the body, making fascia supple and resilient, and cultivating a sense of self-love. Bathed in candlelight and peaceful music, we’re carried by the breath, transforming tension, cultivating Ojas (life energy and vitality), and allowing Soma, the sacred nectar, to circulate.

Introduction to Craniosacral Work

Thierry Bienfaisant will introduce us to Craniosacral work, which focuses on the subtle movements of the craniosacral system. Here, we find a beautiful connection to *Spandadarika*, as both philosophies emphasize the importance of the body’s pulsations or energy movements in fostering health and well-being. Craniosacral work aims to support and harmonize the natural rhythms of the craniosacral system, while *Spanda* in Shaivism teaches that the vibrations of consciousness keep the world in motion, and the union of consciousness and emptiness is the path to liberation.
